It pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance and to those who have dared to ask, “Say what are you doing Saturday night?”
It first opened Off-Broadway in1996 and is still running there nine years later.
Music Theatre Ireland’s production, which has already played to packed houses at the King's Head Theatre, London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival gaining 5 star reviews, is directed by Karen Edwards with musical direction by David Wray. It features Dublin based ‘New Yorker’ Danna Davis, award winning actress Naoise Stuart Kelly, Eoin Cannon, who has recently played in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical ‘The Woman In White’ in London, and West End actor George Rae.
